 High Hopes Gala Saturday, November 3, 2018

The 13th Annual A Taste of Ginger took place on Monday, March 27th at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston raising over $285,000 for Joslin Diabetes Center's Asian American Diabetes Initiative (AADI). Twenty nine Boston area chefs delighted our 400 guests with scrumptious tastings as we celebrated the accomplishments of the AADI over the past year. Kristy Lee, Medical Reporter for NBC Boston emceed the evening as we honored Mr. David Wong of Empire Garden Restaurant for his outstanding commitment to the AADI and Joslin Diabetes Center over the years.

Thank you to everyone that attended and contributed to this year's event. Special thanks to our volunteer committee and the participating restaurants for their time and commitment. We look forward to welcoming you in 2018!

The 31st Annual Evening at POPS event took place on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Symphony Hall in Boston raising over $70,000 for Joslin Diabetes Center's High Hopes Fund. Over 200 guests joined us for a special evening with the Boston POPs and Keith Lockhart for "E.T. in Concert." This year, we honored Joslin pediatrics patient, J. Barron Clancy III for his love of the symphony and living well with diabetes.

The 18th Annual High Hopes Gala took place on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at The Westin Copley Place, Hotel raising over $1.5 million for Joslin Diabetes Center's High Hopes Fund. Nearly 500 guests gathered to celebrate Joslin Diabetes Center and the Global Achievement Honoree, Joslin's Chief of Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Section, Lori Laffel, M.D., MPH. We were also joined by special guest, Jason Varitek, emcee J.C. Monahan, News Anchor for NBC Boston., auctioneer Billy Costa of KISS 108's "Matty in the Morning" and NESN's "Dining Playbook."

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to this year's event! You helped us raise more than $1.5 million for our clinical care and research programs that allow us to continue our work in the fight against diabetes!

We hope to see you  at next year's High Hopes Gala on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at The Castle at Park Plaza.
